Life without Headsets/Head Phones!!

The day just started as usual by boarding my shuttle at around 7.30 AM in the morning. I opened my bag and took my head sets and tuned into one of my favorite track, Adele’s Someone like you like you. Before I could just close my eye lashes I just looked around for a while to notice what exactly my fellow shuttle mates were doing. I found half of them with their headsets on and almost half way through their morning dream. Before I could look more my eyelashes closed by itself and I was in my own dream. Many a times in the past I have thought as to why exactly are these people tuned so much into music. Everywhere you turn you find people with their head sets on tuned into either their favorite song or enjoying the Radio Stations. But no one would actually care to talk to anyone. Now that I too have turned into one among them I know the reason. After a daylong work or before starting a hectic day each one wants to spend a little time alone for them. No wonder I too prefer my headsets rather involving into a conversation with someone. As a person who loved to speak out and make new friends it was difficult in the beginning to just stick on to my headsets and keep my mouth shut for a long time. But as days passed I m changed and so has the world. Anywhere you go, you find people enjoying themselves in their own way. Everywhere in the journey you find people tuned into music. Life without Headset is like a day without your own eyes. It has become one of the most important thing in my life as without it my day is not done.
I continued my journey with the song from Bollywood movie Chameli pleasing my eardrums,
Bhaage re mann kahin, aage re mann chala, jaane kidhar jaanu na
Beheta hai mann kahin, kahaan jaante nahin, koyi rokle yahin
Bhaage re mann kahin, aage re mann chala, jaane kidhar jaanu na….

WASE classes

It’s been 2 and half years already since I have been working, and it’s around 2 years in my WASE so far. As I look back these 2 years they were so beautiful right from making new friends, teasing your lectures and creating your college atmosphere back at work. Yes of course you need to study a bit too J

2 years back when we joined the company in June we were informed that we were lucky enough to get a MS Degree in Software Engineering from one of the esteemed universities of India, BITS Pilani. With all our eagerness we stepped into WASE Class. Since my place of joining was at Bangalore we had our WASE classes in PES College, Bangalore. Weekdays we used to work as every other employee and on Saturdays we unite together for our WASE Classes.
Days at PES College were unforgettable. You name it and we have done every single one of those… be it late coming to the first hour, gossips, scolding, outstanding behavior, drawing weird figures at the back of your notebook, bunking sessions, sleeping in the class with your eyes open and making the lecturer believe that you actually listening to their lecture. I don’t know why many a times I have felt so bored in many of the theory classes, Most of my friends dared to sleep in front of the professors though.
It was the break time that brought the whole college together. You could find almost everyone chitchatting with their friends outside the corridor with a cup of tea and biscuits that they used to provide. How can I miss the tummy full lunch that they used to provide for which a long queue used to be formed even before the lunch break starts: P
I pity all the staffs who handled the noon sessions. Every individual would have had his tummy full of lunch and on the top of it we used to have theory sessions of all boring subjects. It used to be like a sleepy pill to already half slept ones.
Since it was our first semester, everyone worried a little and tried to study a bit for the exams. Once into second semester even that was gone with the wind. If a person scores well in mid semester exams, he can be sure enough to move on to next semester. For all those who scored less there always was Open Book Exam in the end of Semester which was for 60 marks. Though it sounds OPEN BOOK nothing was actually part of the text book. We had to first go through the book understand the concept and then prove it. For all those geeky kind of people it was too easy as they already would have captured the concept in the class.
Days passed, Years lapsed. And I am currently into my 4th Semester. With still 4 more semesters to go I am enjoying my life fullest. This journey in my life is been so good so far. I definitely was missing my college life as I entered my new journey of life, but this one has come at right time and given me a break to go back to my college days again.
With lots of sweets moments and infinite memories I still continue this beautiful Journey of my life!!

66th Independence Day Special Rangoli Pictures!!

Wishing all my beloved Indian a Happy 66th Independence Day in Advance!! Have fun guys!!

A Day @ Lalbagh Flower Show 2012:

It was 9.30 PM on Saturday,..Tring Tring.. Got a call on phone from sis saying nxt day she had planned for an outing at Lalbagh Botanical Garden so she wouldn’t be able to makeup coming home. Once the call was dropped dad turned and asked, ‘Shall we go tomorrow morning??’. I replied instantly,’Yeah Sure..It will be fun. Let me get the batteries charged’. I left to get my batteries charged for Camera. Next day early morning at 5.30 AM dad woke us up and we got ready and started to LalBagh Flower show. Reached there around 6.30AM. So many people were already inside the Garden at that timing. Me got ready with my camera and started shooting the serine pictures all around. As I just crossed half the distance I thought this is way larger than the Kodaikanal and Ooty Botanical Gardens. The variety of trees and the flowers available here are decades old. Each tree tell you a story of its own. We first walked towards the Glass/Mirror house. The beauty of the flowershow which was displayed was a feast to your tiring eyes. A must watch of all beautiful swans, Pandas dinosaur and a lovely woodhouse at the top was just beautiful. I don’t have words to describe those piece of arts. Seems they have spent around 15 lacs for the setup alone and expecting around 5.5 lakh people this time. Mom saw my astonishing eyes and she said tis is way less than last year. Last year you should have seen it was just way more than this . I was wondering how good it would have been last year.
We spent around 1 hour inside the glasshouse taking various pictures near the panda, dinosaur, swans, and all the possible coverage areas we were allowed to take pictures. As time passed the crowd also increased and the security tightened. We were not allowed to stand at one place for a long time.
Once we all were fully satisfied with the view we came out of Mirror House and outside we saw there were many stalls displaying their own products like bonsai, flowers, seeds , samplings, pottery works etc etc etc. As we walked a bit further we saw a lane fully dedicated for the Vegetable gardening. Right from tomatoes to litchi to dragon fruit there were samplings available in various ranges.
On our way we saw awesome picture spot of rocks just opposite to the Japanese garden. I climbed fast and following me was my mom blaberring something behind ;) I started giving various poses at the top of the mountain and the pics turned out to be really good.

Later we set our journey towards Rose garden where 1000+ different types of roses were planted. The entry was restricted inside though. As we got a bit tired we sat at the benches and ate something from near by stalls and rested our legs until we gained somemore stamina as we enjoyed the photoshoot of newly married couple just opposite to the place where we sat.
As we recovered dad found another beautiful spot. Guess what??  He he ;) it was a beautiful tree with all its branches almost touching the ground. Dad first climbed on the tree and I too followed his footsteps. The pictures on the tree were really cool. Watching us take the pictures there that soon turned out to be a picture spot. We moved towards the lake area wandered inside for sometime and dad and mom enquired in detail about the various anthuriams, bought a few of them as I enjoyed taking the snaps of welcoming beauty around the botanical garden.
On the whole it was a worthy day out with my parents. Had a lovely day at Lalbagh Flower show 12.
And truly treasure the memories of this day!! A few snaps from the journey are available in the previous posts. Also checkout detailed pictures at http://floweredits.blogspot.in/ ;) Hope you all do too had a nice time !!

Noticed any difference in the Shinning Sun Today??

Have anyone of you noticed a unique feature today??
The Sun which is shining above your head is different in a unique way today. There was a huge black ring around the sun today. Noticed in a very places in India :)

Well if you have not, then have a look at dese :)

The reason for this can be a scientific effect, which is called as 22° halo effect.
It is because the ring is located 22 degrees away from the Sun.
This happens when both the Sun and the Moon block a 1/2 degree region of the sky at a time, so the ring around the Sun is about 44 times larger than the Sun itself.
